I couldn't decide, if I wanted to make a board game or a video game out of this idea. The base idea was "carrier pigeons" - but every animal was able to carry parcels. Every animal had diffent kinds of stats (Speed, stamina, power, water air, earth) and every delivery needed specific stats to work. For example on an island, you needed either air or water stats, to even get there. Support cards could be played to change the game flow.
An extension to the "umalator" website. That website allows you to calculate racing times for the game "Umamusume". My addon calculates an efficiency value for each skill (how many skill points you get for how much faster racing times).
Scrapes the skill list from the umamusume wiki and saves to to json. Was used in combination with umalator-addon to calculate skill costs and skill efficiency.
A spreadsheet that gives me overview of my PvP Umas. It calculates their total stats and ranks them on a tier list automatically. You can easyly see, which Uma should be trained next.
Inspired by SuperEyepatchWolf, I set out to create a "Top 100 Video Games" list. I collected all the video games I've ever played (and hopefully didn't forget any), sorted them (and removed entries that would never have made it into the Top 100), and then pitted them against each other in a battle to the death (using an ELO system). Legal disclaimer: No games actually "died" in this process. Once I'd significantly reduced the number, I manually re-sorted them. I guess the result is a list that makes reasonably good sense to me. :3
This script generates social media pictures from the list, that was generated in my Top-Games project.
Scrapes my played games from steam and adds them to a list. Then it shows me a gui, where games "fight" with each other. I can choose, which game would win (which game I like more). The script calculates elo for every game. Then I can sort by elo and get an ordered list of my favorite games.
The concept was: 12 girls in a school-dorm like environment. They find an ancient board/card game and decide to play it. Every chapter, the focus is on one of them. We learn about their backstory, likes, dislikes, friends, foes etc. At the end of each chapter, that girl dies, until only one remains...
The first two Paper Mario games are still my favorite video-games of all time. For my selfhosted-services I wanted to create a start page, that shows links to all my applications. Also I wanted to add some nice features, like todos or the weather report.
I also used this project to get better at javascript. So almost everything on this project required js to run. I didn't use any server side languages.
I wanted to read out some server variables (cpu, ram, storage...) via an api. So I used python, docker and the psutil functions to realise this project. I included support for it in paper-mario-ttyd-startpage.
When I bought my NAS I only wanted to host a little media server on there. A few months later, I had like 20 docker containers and some self written scripts installed on there. From file renaming, hdd-smart reports, finding missing language tags...
I decided to put many services on my local NAS. Now I have like 20 docker containers running. From paperless (document management) to tandoor (cooking recipe management) I have a container for almost every occasion.
