After drinking sugary drinks for years, I wanted to be a tea dude. I still have many different flavors at my home, but I rarely drink some of them. Remind me to drink tea again. Thanks.
Currently my main drink is pure water. So I guess I live a bit healthier after all.
Record players are cool, because they are unneccessary in the modern ages. No they don't sound better. The're objectivly worse. Some tracks on vinyl are mastered different tho, so they might sound "better" for that reason.
Also collecting vinyl records of your favorite bands just has so much mor flair.
I always wanted to play a music instrument, guitars were always my favorite (bagpipes are also really cool). I tried learning them multiple times, when I was a teenager and always failed. So when I got older I wanted to try an electrical variant. I set up a learing app, got the neccessary equipment and started from scratch. I failed again.
Growing up with the Nintendo 64 I still like retro games to this day. So one day I decided to get an Anbernic "Definitly not Gameboy Advanced" to take retro gaming to the next level. I still like that little console friend but in the end, I prefer playing my games on my Steam Deck instead.
I guess, I'm somewhat of a girly girl. I got into make-up a few years back, but only wear it on "special occasions" like leftist concerts or CSDs. Also collecting pallettes is fun.
In the end I mostly use my custom made "Lethal Cosmetics" one tho.
Nail polish is fun! There are so many cute colors you can put on your nails. They often sparkle too! Me and my girlfriend collected like 100+ different bottles by now.
Still my favorite gaming device to this day. I love chilling on my couch, watching something on tv and playing a game on my Steam Deck. It runs almost every game I want to play and it's much more comfortable than playing on PC/laptop.
Every room I regularly frequent has a set of speakers in them. In my living room I have a 3.1 Klipsch system - no 5.1 because I'm simply missing the space for two more speakers. In my bed room I've got a stereo Kali Audio system to listen to stuff while falling asleep. At the kitchen there's a Marshall bluetooth box - Again: because of space restrains there's no "bigger" system. And at my girlfriend desk is a mono Adam Audio monitor.
I sadly don't have unlimited money and I listen to speakers or IEMs most of the time. So I "just" own one good pair of headphones - the old reliable Sennheiser HD600 (hurr durr six hundros). Listening to music is so much fun with them. A really great piece of technology at an okay price range.
I had many different ones over the years because they tend to break or wear off after heavy use. Chi-Fi (chinese hi-fi) models are usually my go to. The're priced competitivly and sound really good. My favorites to this day are the Moondrop Blessing 2. The're a bit big but with the right ear tips, they fit me well.
I also was never a fan of true wireless earbuds. Everything I tested just sounded bad. Most € 20,- chifi IEMs outperform € 200,- true wireless earbuds. That's kinda sad.
Knifes are a beautiful work of craftsmanship. A good kitchen one lasts for an eternity. My favorite to this day is my trustworthy "Nagomi Eternal". It also was the first real chefs knife I bought for myself.
I was really into plants for a while. Nowadays garden work is just too exhausting for me. I still like to look at plants tho. My all time favorite is lavender.
I still have a huge spices collection with four different kinds of paprika, 10 kinds of salts, 6 kinds of peppers and many more. I like to experiment with them while cooking and every type has a specific taste profile. I'm actually not a huuuge cooking fan, but I don't mind doing it. And when I cook (and actually put effort in it) I want a great result.
